Don’t Quit Dreaming

“Dreamer” came to TRF just recently through a network of concerned horse loving citizens and even some help from a former trainer who remembered him well.  At 6 years old, he is the youngest member of the herd at the TRF’s Second Chances facility at Sykesville Correctional facility.   This bay gelding is a Kentucky bred by Grandslam,  he raced 25 times and has lifetime earnings of $19,000.   The farm manager and men in the program describe him this way ” He is adjusting well to life in retirement. He is still curious about everything around him and frequently acts like a (very) big kid.”

If you choose to sponsor Dreamer, you will have the chance to visit him at the open houses held twice yearly at the farm.   Horses generally stay with TRF for 10-15 years, so it would be nice for him have a sponsor who would like to stick with him.
