Pat Tammaro

Pat Tammaro

Pat Tammaro was a dedicated racing fan and horseplayer who gleefully introduced his son, Nick Tammaro, to the game in the early 90s.

Together they made trips to Belmont, Aqueduct, Santa Anita, Del Mar, Oaklawn, Gulfstream and beyond. As regulars in the Jockey Club at their home track, Sam Houston Race Park, the two formed an unbreakable bond that carried him through the happiest years of his life. A proud Brooklynite who eventually adopted Texas as his home, he approached life with a unique passion that was inimitable.
