In Support of Aftercare – Steven Moskowitz

A message from Steven:

“As many of you may know, I have been a thoroughbred horse racing enthusiast since my late Father introduced me to the sport when I was a teenager.   As time has gone by I have met many great people involved in the sport who have introduced me to other aspects of thoroughbred racing that I never had exposure to growing up in Brooklyn, New York. One particular area that I have recently become passionate about is the aftercare of these race horses once their racing career is over. Unfortunately, there are not enough facilities, homes or pastures to care for these horses and far too many of them do not have good outcomes.

This year I have had the pleasure to personally get to know two quality charitable organizations that dedicate themselves to finding a home for these retired racehorses.   As you can imagine, caring for these horses is costly and these organizations rely on donations as their primary source of funding.

When they say that your donation will save a life, I can assure you that in this case it will.
