The David Cassidy Memorial Sanctuary Fund
In honor of David Cassidy
April 12, 1950 – November 21, 2017

David Cassidy had a love and passion for Thoroughbred racing and embraced the business as a breeder/owner-seller and, most of all, a fan. He was a great supporter of many thoroughbred charities including the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation.
In his honor, the TRF has decided offer a memorial sponsorship of our horse Ain’t No Sunshine as part of the David Cassidy Memorial Sanctuary Fund, designated to specifically care for all the ex-racehorses that are unlikely candidates for adoption due to injury or age. These horses live in peace and happiness with loving care in our sanctuary for the remainder of their lives. Please make a gift in his memory today.

The TRF provides sanctuary to hundreds of horses like Ain’t No Sunshine across the country. Many of these horses are an integral part of our correctional facility-based vocational training programs in equine care and stable management. Through this unique partnership, incarcerated men and women learn important lessons in compassion and responsibility as well as a useful trade while the horses receive the quality hands-on care they deserve. We currently care for hundreds of equine residents and most will live happily into their 20’s and 30’s.
